ADFAITH Publisher Terms of Use (updated July 2008)
  1. ADFAITH Publishers ("you") are still under obligation to abide by all terms stated in the Catholic Outpost Terms of Use.
  2. All content on your website must be faithfully Catholic. In other words, it can not support anything that contradicts the teachings of the Catholic Church in any way.
  3. Your publishing website must have an explicit Catholic identity. This means that, in at least some small way, your website must have a Catholic identity. The owners, members or employees of your website simply being Catholic does not satisfy this qualification.
  4. Clicking on the ADFAITH ads served to your website (publishing place) is considered fraudulent and could result in lawsuit and/or termination of your ADFAITH account.
  5. Catholic Outpost has the right to retain any payments owed to you for any clicks that are under review for fraudulent or related activity.
  6. When advertising in the ADFAITH Network you promise not to hold Catholic Outpost accountable for the content of other websites advertised through your publishing places. We do our best to screen our ADFAITH Advertisers to make sure they are faithful, Catholic websites that do not promote anything that contradicts the teachings of the Catholic Church. If we find that one of our ADFAITH Advertisers does not meet this standard, their account will be disabled immediately. If you find any such ads, you must report them to us immediately.
  7. Your website can not be a "link farm". It must have another specific, Catholic purpose with unique, original content.
  8. There may be periods where either your website is under review for displaying ads or where there are other limitations for ads being displayed on your website. This can be due to a number of factors, especially limitations placed on an ad campaign by the advertisers themselves. These include limitations on impressions and clicks per IP address viewing the ad, limited time frames the ad is active, limitations on regions where an ad can be displayed, etc. In the occassion that there are no ads to be served to your particular website place for a given request, you may receive a courtesy ad in its place. You will not earn revenue for clicks on these ads. Note: Just because you are receiving courtesy ads from one computer (IP address) does not necessarily mean they are showing on requests from other IP addresses or other regions. (Courtesy ads are simply free ads for Catholic entities - including Catholic Outpost ADFAITH - that Catholic Outpost is supporting at no charge to them and in a spirit of charity. Catholic Outpost makes no money off of their placement. However, courtesy ads will not run on your site if other paid ads are available.)
  9. You can not place ADFAITH advertisements on your website in a deceitful manner that tricks someone into clicking on them. Doing so is considered fraudlent activity and could result in lawsuit and/or termination of your ADFAITH account. Any earnings obtained in such a way will be cancelled.
  10. Catholic Outpost retains the right to change the payment amounts for ADFAITH publishing at any time and for any reason.
  11. In order to combat fraudulent clicks and those executed by "spiders" and "bots", Catholic Outpost ADFAITH retains the right to remove and adjust your click and impression counts accordingly and by our method and standard of minimizing such activity. Note: this may result in your earnings actually going down at some point if/when these fraudulent or illegitamate clicks are removed.
